Contract for sale
We strive to keep all items in stock, unless handmade in which case they are made to order; so that you can be assured that your purchase(s) can be with you without delay. However, on rare occasions some items may be out of stock. Therefore, your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and Love Tiaras.com. Handmade items are not stocked but made to order so please allow up to 28 days for these items unless required sooner in which case the required delivery date should be notified when placing the order. Bespoke items are also made to order and will generally be dispatched within 4 - 6 weeks although this may vary depending on volume of orders for handmade items. If delivery times are very different you will be notified by email when your order is placed.
While we try to ensure that all stock and prices are correct and up to date we cannot be held responsible for their accuracy. Prices and stock availability will not be contractually confirmed until you receive a dispatch notification email sent to the email address provided by you, once your order has been picked and dispatched. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. Only persons aged 18 and over are entitled to enter into legally binding contracts and therefore are the only people entitled to purchase goods through this site. Any individuals who are unable to enter into legally binding contracts are prohibited from ordering goods using this site. Any contracts or agreements formed between yourself and Love Tiaras.com through this site will be governed and construed according to English law and any disputes or proceedings will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Our right to refuse a transaction
We reserve the right to refuse to process a transaction to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of refusing; unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
Making a Purchase
When you make a purchase from Love Tiaras.com you will receive the following:
- a confirmation email once your order has been received
- a confirmation email once your order has been dispatched
Pricing
All prices shown are in pounds sterling (GBP). Orders from overseas are accepted and the postage costs are outlined within the Delivery information section. Your credit card company will charge you in your country's currency and at that day's exchange rate. Local charges are not the responsibility of Love Tiaras.com.
Import Duty Obligations
If you purchase goods from our website for delivery outside the UK please note that they may be subject to import duties and tax on reaching the specified destination. You will be responsible for the payment of such import duties and taxes. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order. Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations for the country for which the goods are destined. We will not be liable for any breach of such laws by you.
Quality
Each item for sale on our site has been personally chosen to represent great style and quality. All of our products are either handmade or manufactured to a high standard.
We take great care to ensure that we accurately describe all items for sale on the site. However, as many pieces are handmade their composition may vary slightly from that shown. We want you to be happy with your choice and to take pleasure in wearing it. However, if you are unhappy with your purchase in any way please contact us to arrange a return and refund. (See Returns & Refunds).
Nickel is a metal that is occasionally used in fashion jewellery. However, some people have an allergy or skin reaction to nickel which results in a rash, particularly if worn as pierced jewellery such as earrings. Recent European legislation - the "Nickel Directive" - strictly defines the amount of nickel that jewellery can contain, to ensure that it remains safely below the level at which such skin reactions could occur. All jewellery & tiaras sold by Love Tiaras.com complies with this legislation.
All earrings for sale at Love Tiaras.com are unsuitable for the initial piercing or healing period.
Children's Products
Tiaras & items of jewellery should only be worn for periods not exceeding 24 hours and should not be worn over-night. Tiaras, bracelets, necklaces, earrings and accessories with decorations such as wands, are not suitable for children under the age of 3 due to small parts.
Returns & Refunds
Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receipt of the goods. We regret that this does not apply if you have ordered a bespoke handmade piece or have customised one of our handmade designs as they have been commissioned by you. We also cannot accept returns of earrings for pierced ears due to hygiene reasons. This does not affect your statutory rights. If you wish to return any other item please contact us by email at info@lovetiaras.com giving details of your order number and the item you wish to return. We will then issue you with a returns code and email you a returns form. Please fill out the returns form, replace the item in its original box/packaging and send it, together with the returns form enclosed, back to us at the address above. We will then make a full refund, providing that the item has not been worn, is received back in perfect condition and in its original packaging within 7 working days of issuing the returns number. Any items returned outside of these conditions will be returned, un-refunded to the sender.
For all returns, you will be required to arrange and pay the postage on the item/s returned. We would strongly advise that you obtain proof of delivery, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit. Please note that proof of postage is not proof of delivery. For your own benefit we suggest using Royal Mail Special Delivery. This ensures proof of delivery and insurance of the goods in transit.
Any refunds due will be processed back on to the original card used for payment, usually within 14 working days.
Access to the Website
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on the website without notice. We will not be liable if the website is unavailable at any time or for any period. We may restrict access to the website, or parts of it from time to time.
Transaction Security
All transaction information passed between our site and the SagePay VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to our servers from SagePay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing passed to the SagePay servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
Once on the SagePay systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data held by SagePay is extremely secure and SagePay are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.
